WOW I would have never suspected that. This is the first time I've heard of an issue like this with them. I have a friend that does quite a bit of business with them, and they've always seemed to be pretty strait up, and know what they're talking about. This surprises me.

Thanks for updating us, and giving the heads up.

Probably both 22655td and Rockland know more about setting up gears than me, but what I do know is that gears are either set up perfect, or they are quickly trash.
Sounds like you found somebody who does mediocre work. That can be a tough business in the best of times when you only do mediocre work. You probably have already gotten as much out of them as they can afford to give you.

Sorry to drag this from the dead, but what happens when you do not have those A-B values?

Is there a Ring Pinion with a 3.90 that does have those values stated?

THe motive gears only has the A value, and I have been calculating the B value based on the difference from the whole case then dividing by 2.

I have built a couple but they still whine after 300-400 miles. Any thoughts?

Thanks
