Shift **** replacement
My factory C5 shift **** has finally tore apart. I took off the top plastic piece with the shif pattern on it and now am stumped on how to take it apart and replace it. i have tried looking in past threads, but have found nothing helpful. Any help and sugestions on where to purches a aftermarket **** would be helpful.

There are numerous manners to remove the "demon key" which secures the oem C5/Z06 **** to the oem shifter lever. After you remove the ****/demon key, you can decide on whatever **** fits your fancy. It needs to have 9/16-18" threads to fit the C5/Z06 shifter.
Any of the site supporting vendors should have a selection of *****. You can also find them in the classifieds. I use a HURST six speed **** on my car, which I bought from SUMMIT RACING.
