Default Start up error message
2002 Corvette Z06, upon starting I get an error message stating "remove key-wait 10 seconds and restart". If I do not follow this my engine will shut off. I have read about electronic column lock system failures but they do not address this problem. Any info ???

I agree. You have the dreaded message for the column lock failure.

Install the CLB before its tooooooooo late! They do work. A low charged battery can and will contribute to this problem also.

Get the CLB!
