I PUT 20s ON MY CAR AND THE CAR HAS BEEN RUNNING LIKE ITS BEING HELD BACK AND THE CHECK HANDLING SYSTEM CAME ON THE MESSAGE BOARD FEEL FREE TO CALL 201 390 7343 THANKS
What are your tire's overall diameters, front and rear? The rears need to be at least 1/2" taller than the fronts, or you activate the limp-home mode. Hard to drive it that way. EIther that, or you bought 80lb wheels, and it just feels that way.
Since you have 20s all around, I am assuming that you have the same tires on all 4?
Maybe you could swap out the rear rubber for something taller? I wonder if you went slightly taller in the rear and lowered the front end a bit if it would do the trick. Not sure if that would look funky or not. Anyone know?
I thought I read somewhere that the sensors for the body control were under the pass seat.
Just a thought. More of a question for the group than advice.
You could also buy a set of 19s for the front and try to sell the 20s as rears, but I bet you'd lose big on the deal with only 2...

The OVERALL HEIGHT of the REAR tires M U S T be 1/2" taller than the OVERALL HEIGHT of the FRONT tires.
If the FRONT and REAR tires are the same height,,, the wheel speed sensor data from the rear tires will make the Electronis Brake Traction Control Module (EBTCM) think that the rear wheels are loosing traction and it will apply the brakes to correct the problem.
Put shorter height tires on the fronts OR taller tires on the rears.
While we are on this subject, will a LARGER difference cause a problem. I am putting on C6Z wheels and tires on my '02Z. The difference is 1.1" taller in the rear. '02Z stock has a .7" taller rear. Any thoughts?
