Default help with tires newbie

I just got my first vette and it happens to be 2002 QS Z06. My question is that the tires are wore out. Is the factory tire size okay or is there a upgrade that looks good. It has the factory wheels and wanted to find out now before I buy all new factory sizes. 265 40 17 front and 295 35 18 rears of course. Wants your choices. Maybe wider on rear and factory size on front? And I want matching tread so it might be hard. Let me know. Thanks ahead.

What are you wanting to do? If you're happy with your Z06, then go back with stock sizes. If you want different looks, then I'd suggest heading over to the Wheels and Tires forum; they might be able to get you some photos/suggestions.

HTH, and have a good one,
Mike

Ive been through a bunch of different tires on C5's Pilot Sports were OK, Stock ZO6 Supercars were good Prellie P Zeros on the ZO6 SUCKED!
The Stock C6 tires plain SUCKED Bilge water!

Now I have Toyo Proxies RA1's on my 02 Z and on my wifes C6 Coupe. Best tires that I have owned so far! My wife really likes hers too!

On my 02 Z I purchased CCW 19" 505A's and I have 315" on the rear.

Ill post pics tonight.

in stock sizes, or at least near the nitto nt05 is one of your better choices if you're performance oriented and want to stay off of R compounds.
