Default fan issue
so i've narrowed it down to this:

my cooling fans don't turn on anymore. I checked, and they spin freely. They don't turn on even when the AC is pressed. fan fuses 46 and 49 (the 30A fuses) as well as the AC fuse are all ok. This is on a 2000 C5 A4. Do you guys have any ideas? Thanks

check the relay out, sounds like a good culprit. Also check the pressure switches on the A/C lines they may be stuck shut.

The fan grounds go through the ground pack at the right forward frame rail adjacent to the hood riser.
