ok i have another post from a few months back that i thought i had a pulley or belt squealing problem and with a lil help from a fellow vette friend/owner found the problem!!! its not either of the 2 its a vaccuum squeal.I never would have imagined that but thats what it is. here is what i did to the car and need help with vaccuum routing i guess lol. i have a 2000 coupe with h/c swap and i have the fast 90 intake and ls2 tb. so here is the squeal. it is from the back line of the passenger side valve cover and when i remove the line from the cover it stops.now the front line was plugged off because there was nowhere to plug it in to the ls2 tb. so im guessing i need to t into something else on the front and because its plugged off im getting pressure in the motor to make the rear line whistle or squeal. i also have a catch can if that matters.so does anyone have a diagram on how the lines need to be run when switching from a ls1 intake and tb to a fast 90 and ls2 tb with a catch can?
I have the LS2 in my '07 but don't know a lot about it yet. The LS2 PCV valve system is not the same as the LS1 or LS6 engines which are in the C-5. Whatever that difference is, you need to account for it if you are using anything from the LS2. Not sure about the TB from the LS2 or the Fast90. Obviously you have a open port to the intake.
i know others have changed from a ls1 intake and tb to a fast 90 and ls2 tb and catch can so help a member out with the line routing of the vaccuum lines seeing the ls2 tb has less nipples to attach lines to they have to go somewhere??
