Default Whine from Car update

I have posted this question a few times and took everyones answers and tried each. I have a high pitched whine coming from my car only when i hit the acceleractor i htink i have narrowed it down to the transmission, or right under the shifter someplace not the rear end as expected. The whine only occurs when I hit the gas pedal and is higher pitched in 4th 5th and 6th gear. With this new info does anyone have any idea what it could be? Throwout bearing possibly?I changed rear end gear oil, that was not the problem. Transmission was flushed a month or so ago.

If it was the throwout bearing, when its happening, if you push in the clutch a little, the whine would change. Truly, you need to get under the car and simulate the driving condition when the whine happens. What would be nice is to have it on a dyno that you could get safely under. You might want to contact RPM Transmissions and ask for their advice

Torque tube propellor shaft bearing??

Can you put the car on jack stands and make the noise happen with the car stationary. Possibly loading the drive train using the E brake. With the car stationary, you can remove the shifter boot and use a mechanics stephasocpe and listen to the front troque tube bearing area. If it coming from that area it will be louder in one spot.

Is this a new noise or has it been there a long time?

When you say the pitch is higher in 4th, 5th, and 6th, is it different for each gear or the same for 4th, 5th and 6th?

Did the transmission fluid change have any effect on the noise?

If you rev the engine with the clutch pedal out and the transmission in neutral can you hear the noise at all?

Seems very faint in three and once your going up in gears it gets louder each gear this noise is not present just revving engine or stationary nor does it make it when i depress cluth if i do not hit the gas pedal you still dont hear the noise but as soon as i hit gas it starts and is loud whine only radio drowns it out ......

Sounds like it's vehicle speed sensitive, not rpm.

Default Any updates?

I have the same problem with the exception that mine is louder in 1-3 gears. Did you ever figure out what the deal was?
