Hey my 2001 z06 is making a noise like its sucking or blowing air. I put it next to my friends z06 and my car was louder from the engine, but it was air pressure noise. I tried to find a leak but couldnt find it.
Does anyone have any tips on what i should look for or any hoses that have a lot of problems. Or any easy way to tell if it has a leak. Thank you.

Any history here? recent mods? Intake off ? A/C functioning normally(air not coming out of all vents regardess of mode)?
Well i got the car but i didnt realize that leak till my friend told me it sounds like one. And there are no mods but i did put on a underdrive pulley the other day but this noise is from before that.
Also i have a code P0410 and also my driver side vents give a lot less air than the other side.
I usually will spray something where it sounds like the leak is coming from and listen to the idle.
If it changes , you are close , concentrate your efforts in that area

At P0410 suggests that neither bank is responding to AIR. There are two components of the system that have a vacuum connection:
AIR shutoff valve
AIR vacuum control solenoid
See if you can isolate the leak noise to either the battery area/behind the right front tire, or directly below the left headlight.
This is good, logical thinking. You'd be lucky to find 1 professional tech out of ten that would bother thinking it through like this.
lucky131969, you are the man. thanks so much for all of your help and insight on this, as well as many other issues here on the forum. i hope you realize just how many people you help when you post your responses. i have read so many of your posts and saved quite a bit of the information and ideas you post up.

Thanks. I acknowledge that I'm a smart ***(which is not always well taken..), but I do try to help with factual info. Let us know if you find the issue...

Is this second diagram the front of the door jam and wheel well? I can't tell. Also, the part circled...is it the vacuum solenoid? Where is it located? I have the P0410 code and no vent control. Pump is pumping air and there is vacuum (firewall side) and pressure (pump side) at the connection near the alternator.

The diagram is inside the right fender, just behind the wheel, and above the pcm. Yes, that is the vacuum solenoid. I would pull the battery tray, and inspect the vacuum lines first...very common area for them to break or chaff through.
