It appears that I have an intermittent problem with my DIC. Sometimes whenever I start my car it pops up the odometer. I believe it is normal for it to flash the odometer and then go back to the last thing you had pulled up on the display and this is what it does most of the time but about every fourth or fifth time it pulls the odometer up and it stays, I can scroll through the button to go back to a blank display but that's a pain to do every forth time I start it. Also when it pulls up the odometer it resets my fuel average. I have checked the two grounding points on each side of the hood and they looked fine. Anyone had this problem or can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!!!
update: I forgot to mention that every once in a great while I get the error "ground system fault" when starting. Most likley these problems are tied together Also I had code u1064h in the bo-rfa section.

Reason: update
I don't know what a "did" is, but lets assume you mean the DIC. When the battery gets older or low on charge, when the starter is engaged, the battery voltage drops down into the 8v range. When that happens, the HUD and DIC default to certain displays. A new battery will correct it. When it gets annoying enough or when the car won't start anymore, try a new battery. You can also use a voltmeter to check your battery voltage under starting load, I think you'll see it dip very low while cranking. Please fill out your profile, or at the very least mention the year of the car in your question. If you have a HUD, you'll notice that the display also defaults to the oil pressure display when this happens.
I agree. Your battery is dropping too low during the start cycle which is resetting everything. Check your battery connections for lose or dirty connections but most likely your battery needs to be replaced. Put a meter across the battery with the engine off. You should see 12.5 vdc or higher. If below, its time to replace or check your charging system.
