Default Another CAM Thread

Okay I have an 02 Z06 with 1 7/8 Kooks, Off-road X-Pipe (no Cats), Ti exhaust, Stinger CAI, Monster 3.5 Clutch w/lightweight flywheel, and a tune, stock heads, TB, and Intake. Cut-outs to be added later.

Dynos right at 400RWHP.

I want the nastiest CAM I can get without fly-cutting the pistons.
It's not a daily driver and I'm not concerned with drive-ability. Its to have one hell of a good time in it when I do drive it.

I want children to run, old ladies to scream, and pregnant woman to lactate.

Is there anything out there that will get me in the 460RWHP range? Power in the 3500-6500 range.

Whiplash II, TRex, G5X4, G6X3...

TIA

You may want to look into a custom grind as well as the typical off the shelf cams. To make it to the 460 rwhp range you will probably need to invest in a FAST 90/90 set-up but who knows what could happen. I am running a custom cam motion 238/242 and it is pretty nasty - really kicks in above 3500 and the idle sounds great on a 112* lsa. Good luck!

Yeah I'm probably going to get Spinmonster to do port on my Intake and TB. Maybe switch to a ported LS2 instake and TB.

Prob going to want to be around a MS3 size cam with a 112 LSA (MAYBE could go 111 but I doubt it) without flycutting. I had to flycut on my set up below.

CAI, longtubes, free flowing catbacks, heads, FAST 92/90 and a decent sized cam will get you there, no problem. Driveability is all in the tune

a G5X3 cam on a 114 should do the trick.

I have one in my car. Real attention getter.
