Signal light issues

Signal light issues
A buddy of mine FunCool here on the forum has a problem with his car. We were just talking about it and I figured I would post to see if anyone else has had this concern.
The problem is when he turns his signals on (right side) the front works but flashes rapidly, the rear does not work. The hazzards work, the brake lights work normally. Tried the hyper flash relay but made no difference and changed out the bulbs to see....still no luck....I can't see it being the signal switch since the front works fine... must be a grounding issue somewhere??
