Tachometer problem
Good Morning,
When I bought my 97 vette in July, the previous owner had a Shift-Lite Tachometer on the dash. It worked but was nasty looking so my husband removed it this weekend.
Now, the tach guage in dash doesn't work. The 1 to 4 shiftlight comes on even though the tach isn't working, so he's guessing it is just a wiring issue. But, which wire? And where?
Any suggestions you have for a fix would be appreciated.

BTW: the Shift-Lite Tach is for sale if anyone is interested.

Tach Problem Fixed
Thanks to my Husband (again)!
Using the service manuals that he made me buy, he finally was able to determine what the problem was with the tach.
It was a white(?) wire that came loose from the PCM when he was removing the old tach.
Just thought I'd let you all know.
