Wanted to update this thread.We ended up making a little over 740 hp at 7100 rpm with this.We detuned it a little to be on the safe side,just over 700hp

I'll plead ignorant here, what makes it an road-race build exactly? Ive heard folks talk about engine built for specific hour uses but other than strengthen is there any necessary for a roadrace build? thnk you

lots of things go into making it a road race engine,type of bottom end components,design of the pistons.The biggest thing is the valvetrain.Valvetrains on these motors are very critical because they have to hold up under a wide rpm range.The rpm range is also important in these-need to have plenty of low end tq for out of the corners but good top end rpm for long straight stretches

Very very Different then a street rod or drag race engine.
