I recently purchased a 2001 Z06 and it displays "Service Active Handling" as soon as you turn the key on and continues while driving. After about 10 minutes of driving that message alternates with "Service Soon" My OB2 scanner gives me no codes but the on board check gives me "28-TCS-C1287 H, C1288 H, C1296 H C ; AO-LDCM-B 2252 H " Any Ideas?
Thanks
.....all 3 of yours are History -"H" suffixed codes. try deleting them & see if they return as -"C" Current suffixed codes...sometimes just erasing will reset codes...if codes do return you may need to replace the steering sensor...
to erase or "clear" codes, press ."reset"
(The computer will show two kinds of codes, "current" and "history," designated "C" or "H". A current code indicates a malfunction is present in the system whose module is displaying data. A history code indicates a past problem. When the screen displays "manual diagnostics," select the desired module by pressing the "options" button to go forward or the "trip" button to go back. Press "gages" to go forward or "fuel" to go back)

My 2001 Conv. gives this code every day, yet when I check and clear it, it shows "H" instead of "C"... go figure.

An OBD2 Scanner is incrementally better than useless in diagnosing modern cars. The On Board diagnostics are your best indicators. The reason you are seeing history indicators is the ABS system resets with each ignition sequence. Drive the car until you see the messages alternating and then pull over and without turning the car off start the On Board Diagnostics and see if the codes are showing as current.
The steering sensor, brake pressure sensor and door control module codes can all voltage related. It is rare for a system (EBCM) to have two unrelated failures. The steering sensor and and brake pressure sensor don't look related on the face of things but they along with the yaw rate and lateral G sensors rely on the same high and low reference voltage supply points from the EBCM. A low resistance in any of those sensors could pull that voltage down and cause a code for both or the voltage supply from the EBCM could be the problem. I am not sure a low reference voltage at the yaw and lateral accel sensors would cause them to throw a code so I am assuming it will not.
So, because it is easy to do I would make sure the battery and its voltage and ground connections are OK. This would make sure there isn't a common problem affecting both the EBCM and the door control module. Then I would check the voltage and ground connections at the EBCM. Then I would make some resistance measurements to make sure the voltage reference lines from the EBCM to the sensors are not shorted to ground, open or shorted to each other.
The odds are the SWPS is the culprit but the EBCM is also a major candidate and there are a bunch of tests that can be done easily with a Tech 2 to determine which one is at fault. Obviously you do not have a Tech 2. Not knowing your diagnostic capabilities with electrical circuits I hesitate to go further with testing recommendations.
If the problem resides in the EBCM it is not going to be easily solved by sending the unit to ABSFixer as he only replaces the system relay which supplies voltage to the BPMV. If it is the EBCM then a new EBCM may be required.
The only code that is current is the C1296 and it comes back any time I turn the switch on. A earlier reply said that that was master cylinder sensor. Is that the one in the master cylinder reservoir that senses brake fluid level? or some where else. And if that is it can I check it by jumpering the connector or grounding one side? My service manuals have not shown up yet so I don't have any wiring info.

Thanks for all the help.
It is not the brake fluid level sensor it is the brake pressure sensor. For 2001 and newer C5s the brake pressure sensor is located on the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV). On 2000 and older cars the sensor is part of the plumbing attached to the master cylinder.
