Caliper questions
Hi,
Got some questions. (yes I did use search first)
now i'd like to know if C5 Z06 calipers bolt straight on too a C5.
And what differences are there with C6 calipers (stock and Z51)
(i know C5 Z06 calipers are used in the C6 Z51)
How much modification do they need to bolt on.

There is a difference in the script of the "Corvette" as well in the C5 & C6 calipers and also he ribbing across the top side is different in the C5 & C6 std & Z51. They do interchage with no problem though

C5, C5Z06, C6 and C6Z51 are all the same caliper except the C6 version has a stiffer backbone and is more resistent to spreading under extreme use. They all take the same pads.
The C6Z51 has a bigger rotor and different mounting bracket: 13.37x1.25 vs 12.75x1.25
