I am upgrading my stock C5 sway bars to C6Z51 bars and I am SURE there will be torque specs. Any good install guides around? I looked in the DIY threads but to no avail, or I missed it.
There are some errors on the ls1howto web site, you may want to verify the torque values against the service manual. Also, as an aside, I found a few wraps of plumbers teflon tape where the sway bar passes through the bushing keeps the noise away and is not messy like a grease.
Now that is a good tip there vettenuts. how long does the tape hold up? I just ordered the Z06Z51 sway bars for mine from Gene and I will try the tape when I install them. Let me know leukic if you run into any problems you can pass on to me. I will not be doing mine for a few weeks

Will do, I will be installing mine Saturday. Using the manual/ls1howto instructions. Then next will in Z06 Shocks after my S/C install on March 1st.

Re-checked... torque specs for the mounting brackets front and rear are all correct.
