passenger window
Hello all,
The passenger window does not go up/down (it's up right now-yeah). What else could the problem be besides fuse, motor, cable assy, or window assy?

Maybe it lost it's position status. Try going through the initialize process for window indexing in the operator's manual.

Just looked at your profile. If you truly have an 04, you're in the wrong forum and my previous advice doesn't apply. You really should state the year of the car in your question, they are not all the same. If you have an 04, hold down the window down switch and close the door firmly a couple of times. The contacts in the motor may be stuck from lack of use. If so, once it breaks loose, cycle the window occasionally to prevent it in the future. The switch needs to be held, either on the driver or passenger door so that the window "should" be going down, when the door is slammed. If that doesn't free it up after a few times, hold the switch down and wiggle the bundle of wires in the door hinge area. All this has to be done with the key on. Post what you find.

Yeah, if its a C-5, hold the switch down and rap on the window, downward and it might take off and move. 65GGvert is exactly right about the non-use being the normal cause. There are cases where the motor will fail and of course the relay in the RDCM too. You can swap out the door control modules to verify.
