I have an 04 conv. The passenger window does not go up/down (it's up right now-yeah). What else could the problem be besides fuse, motor, cable assy, or window assy, or window sticking? I physically tried to make it go up/down & jiggled wires per advice to no avail. There is a clicking sound when I press on up/down on both doors.
Very common problem. Since you are hearing a clicking sound the motor is probably stuck. There is a temporary workaround that sometimes works. Bang on the door or slam the door while pressing the down button. That may free it up temporarily, but the only fix is to replace the motor/regulator assembly. There are good procedures for that here on the forum if you do a search.
Read this post of mine and see if it will help you. There is also a connector inside the rubber boot at the door jam that has been known to cause problems. That too is explained in my post. Good luck.
I found corrosion in the connector on the motor of my passenger side window yesterday, sprayed it with contact cleaner and it now works fine. During my troubleshooting I also removed the 4 torx head screws off the back of the motor and was able to rotate the armature by hand and move the window up and down. This had nothing to do with my fix but could help you determine if your motor is sticking or if there are other mechanical issues.
I will keep that in mind the next time I am asked about a window problem. Thanks, and nice shot of the B-52G there on your avatar. I'm an old B-52 mechanic from back in the 70's.
