Default Code for bad oil psi.sensor?

My buddy just fired his 03(not for very long),after sitting a month, and it is showing 0 oil psi.-it had been sitting 2 months prior to that-apparently it sounded fine.
So these sensors are problematic?
Is there a quick troubleshoot?
Thanks
Dominic

A zero indication is very uncommon. Most OPS fail at max indication 80 analog; 130 digital.

The OIL PRESSURE SENSOR is NOT part of the serial data monitoring routine and will NOT set a DTC.

Recommend that you install a mechanical gage in the FRONT oil galley port to see if your pump is actually pumping at pressure.

Check to see that you have the 5 VDC ref signal at the other engine sensors.

I had two go bad, and they both went to 0 eventually, and I believe I got a code for it as well, but before they went they both acted a little crazy, and maxed out... then went to 0.
