Alternator Question
I have a chance to pick up a polished alternator case that was removed from a 2002(?) Vette. I have a 1998. I know the internals are different with the voltage, the clutch and all. What I am wondering is would the internals from my 98 work in the 2002 case? Are they the same case but with different internals?

As far as I know there all the same on the inside. Some of the automatic car alternators have a clutch on the pulley. Your best bet would be to PM "Evil Twin". He is the forum alternator expert. If he cant answer an alternator question,,,NO ONE CAN!
