I'm replacing my clutch and have already taken everything off that needs to be removed. I'm following the Dope Clutch write up and its great. Just at a stop point with dropping the diff/trans/cradle, I don't want to mess anything up so I'm asking this question.
My rear cradle is dropping and its still bolted to the diff but the tran is not moving. I have a trans jack under the cradle and one under the trans, the trans lifted the jack off the ground when I tried to drop it.
Is there anything I'm missing, are there bolts holding the trans up? I've removed all the ones for the cradle and have been following the write up, and I'm not seeing anything I missed. Do you have to drop the cradle a good ways before the trans drops/follows? Any help is appreciated. Thanks
The only thing holding up the drive train is the rear cradle, no tranny cross-member like normal rear drive cars since the transmission is in the rear.
