I have an 2002 Z06, this last weekend i took it out for a spin and the passanger power window would not go down, it clicks when the button is pushed on either door.
I am sure this has been addressed and I have tried to do a search but i must be search challenged......
I have heard the window motors can get hung up from time to time. Try slamming the passenger door a couple of times and then try to lower the window. This has worked for other forum members in the past. Good luck with it.
Usually the passenger window motor brush contacts get contaminated from lack of regular use and cause the motor to fail. Many have had luck with holding the button down and rapping downward on the window to give it a helping hand and it'll take off on its own. Others have slammed the door to get the same result as posted above. Other than that, the relay in the door control module could have a problem.
mine stuck once 4 years ago..freed it and since then, every time I start her up I run the passenger window down & up several times to keep those brushes from being contaminated...this works! never stuck again..
Most of the time, I don't think the window fails because of relays or brushes. My theory is that because the windows do not have any limit switches, and the glass just runs up against the stops until the motor stalls, the drive gears and motor just get in a bind.
I have had brand new window regulator units quit working after only a few weeks, but once they were unstuck, they worked fine.
I have been bumping the glass down a fraction of an inch, to unload the drive gears and motor, and the window has not stuck since.
You may have to take the door panel off and tap directly on the motor housing to get it unstuck. Once you get it working again, you might try bumping the glass down a bit from full up. I got where I can hit the down and up buttons quickly enough that the glass only drops about 1/16th of an inch, so sealing in the weatherstrip is not a problem.

Please point me in the right direction .
thanks,

hey did you ever get the window to working i have the same problem
My passenger side window has not been working for over a year. I finally got the energy to troubleshoot the problem yesterday and found corrosion in the connector on the motor inside the door. Sprayed it with some electrical contact cleaner from Autozone and now it works great.
If you hear noise when you push the switch that might mean the motor is working but the window is stuck for some reason (probaly some kind of dirt). With the door closed and you sitting in the passenger seat, push and hold the window switch in the down position and the give the door panel a smack with your right hand while still holding the switch in the down position. Try smacking it in a couple of places as this routine will often get the window going again. If it is going to work it will probably work with the first smack. Don't kill the door just a smack.
Hope this helps. I have used it successfully on Corvettes and other vehicles as long as you can hear a small motor type sound when you en gage the switch.
