Default Stoptech Pewrformance Brake Pads

So I'm wondering if the new Stoptech Performance Brake Pads are on anyone's list to consider.

FWIW - they had them made to get rid of the Axxiss Ultimate pads which they sold for many years.

They did use the characteristics of the Ultimates as a bogey.

Good initial bite - good temperature range - moderate dust/noise and a good price.

At $140ish a car set for C5/C6 non Z (D731/D7332) it's a pretty good price.

Now over on the Subaru forms they will ANALyze these till....well..forever - hopefully on here a bit less.

Just another product to add to the mix if you are in the market.

By moderate dust/noise, do you mean more that ceramic but less than the others like the Hawk +s?

I like the ceramics I have now because they make no noise and dust very little. However, they are good for one hard braking and they are done. I have XP12s for the track, but they dust, but they are awesome at track.

We'll try a set before we post -

They'll make a bit of dust - but they do stop pretty hard on all the imports I've been selling them for. A bit of a rising torque curve.

No noise.

Would love to know if they dust less than OE C5Z pads...so far, everything I can find to read suggests they are very good from a pricing and performance standpoint. Any feedback??

They do dust more than a typical 'Honda' pad - and I got a bit of squeal from them the other day in the Forester XT when parking in the garage but otherwise they have behaved well and the performance for DD is certainly good.
