Do the 112LSA as you will have a much slower chop to the exhaust and it will bring in power later in the band, whereas a 114 will be closer to the stock 116 LSA and not have near the chop of the 112. The 114 will give you power lower in the RPM band but fall off sooner. The 112 will not have as much Grunt down low as a factory cam, but after about 2200 watch out as Screamin Demon comes though all the way to 6800! Been there and done it on a 111 LSA 230
You've got the chop description right, but the description of where the power comes on with a 112 vs a 114 completely backwards.
Did you like the cam? This will be my first one so i'm trying to pick the right one...........
The cam was great! Made great power and lots of lope on the 112lsa. Only reason for switching was because I went F/I. My current cam is nearly identical, but with a 115lsa...which still lopes hard. You won't be dissapointed!
Please post videos if you have them. I went to order it today and i was told that i have to do different headers to run the 112. So i guess i will do the 114 if it will sound awesome im the car.
I have the G5x3 114 in a 427 and it lopes a bit. Great power all over the band. I'm running 245cc heads too with 1 7/8 ARH headers. I get lots of thumbs up at lights and after some spirited acceleration.

Please give me your advise!
Thanks

I have the G5X2 on 112 in my 70. I have not tuned the car fully yet. I just have not really had the time to get it done. I should just take it to someone and get it tuned.
Here is a video of the car idling in the driveway with no tune.
I have the G5X3/114. Excellent choice! Lots of lope! Guaranteed to turn heads! With stock heads I made 407 RWHP. I now have AFR 205/90/90 combo making 470 RWHP with 4:10 gears
whoa you must get good traction
i got black98's on g5x3 on a 112lsa w/stock z06 heads and it screams.
PM me for some good vids sound+hard excelleration...
Do a search on youtube for: c5zee .... I have videos on there with the g5x3 112 cam with 4 different exhaust combinations so you can get a good "feel" for it. (b&b bullets, stock ti, ghl bullet and corsa pacecar).
My 2003 z06, all stock motor (except cam/valve springs). LG "street" headers, callaway honker cold air. Made 437/405 at the tires with a 50lb twin disc clutch in the car.
I have done some highway roll races against other c5z ... even some with larger headers and higher duration camshafts and I have yet to have any pull on me. I am pretty happy with LG's stuff. Driveability is just fine for me.
