Bill that makes sense. I'd read one thread then this one and wondered why you needed two tunes.

Back on topic kinda, How fast can you drive in Hawaii without falling off the edge?

Once moved I experienced a strange jerking at different speeds, often between 1700-2200 RPMs. Not sure what the ordeal was, I returned to the stock bridge (was running power duct) and pretty much the same thing. Feels like I am running bad gas or I have a fouled plug, but it is not all the time. I am considering going back to the stock setup until I find the right intake. I am frustrated to say the least, because the throttle response on this intake was nice and the performance gains where noticeable compared to what I have had on previous vettes.

I am running this on a 2003 ZO6 and if you have any ideas let me know.

I have checked all connections and everything is tight and good to go.

I recently installed Vararam and had the same problem that you had. Jerking at around 1500rpm and it drove me crazy. I followed the idle relearn that was posted earlier and solved the problem.

Though pretty soon, I'll be installing LG Super Long pro headers and following with a tune to maximize hp for all my bolt ons.

So I would definitely recommend keeping the Vararam and follow the idle relearn. Its a great bolt on.

Well, looks like things are finally good to go. Went for a cruise today and everything seems to be a-okay. Finally. I plan on getting LTs and a tune down the road, but with limited options on tuning out here in Hawaii I am debating on holding off until I return to the home state of florida.

I'm so glad I read this thread. My Vararam is supposedly on the way and I know I do lots of WOT runs 1st through 4th all the time. Now I know it'll help!

Talk to the folks at ECS. You mentioned earlier that you have a buddy with EFI Live, ECS can send you the tune over the internet and your buddy can just download it into your PCM.

See this post:

So, it'd cost $125 w/ the cost reduction. Not bad if you ask me, and lots of folks in that thread seem VERY happy with their tunes.

Well, I sold the VR some weeks ago and put the HALLTECH VENOM on the car and it threw lean codes. I went ahead and bought the HONEYCOMB and I picked up another VR. Yes, I am a sadistic fool, but I want that VR feeling. The throttle response and pull from 45 mph and up was nice, plus I loved the sound. I am going to make this thing work! LASIK tomorrow, VR re-install soooooon.

Nice! I had my tuner set my AFR to 12.5 because of the Vararam. It pulls way nicer now!
