ABS problem??????
-active handling switch is ON
- light is "on" in the dash
I can reset it with a TEch II and it will be good for the initial cycle of the key and then a ways down the road, I get the same message.
No info in the troubleshooting area on the "warm up" light.
ANY ideas?? Posible ground problem???

That message comes from the EBTCM and its normaly a result of a bad Steering Wheel Position Sensor OR an issue with your alignment. The EBTCM looks for a steady SWPS sensor signal after 30 seconds. If it doesnt find one, it sets that message. The manual also states that if the under hood temp sent from the BCM is too cold

Bill.....I was hoping you would answer. You hit the nail on the head. The front crossmember was replaced, had to unhook the steering column to do this (you know). Tech II is showing SWPS problem....
HOW do you fix it? I don't think the sensor was damaged on re/re.
BCM was not touched with this repair......
PM if you need.....
I appreciate your input, this forum APPRECIATES your input!!!
TIA

If it isnt, you may be off a turn to the left or a turn to the right. I think the TECH II can display the SWPS output and you should be able to see the output value of the two pots If I remember correctly 2.5 VDC is zero.
