Perhaps you're not awake yet: Headers with s/c
the question was directed at if you have a supercharger on a performance exhaust system from factory which the hardtop has as a z06, is it really worthy of adding shorty headers for any significant gain? Research does not address this issue. Thanks. Friend.

Hate to burst your bubble but your hardtop came from the factory with the exact same exhaust as every other 1999 Corvette. No such thing as a 1999 Z06.

Whether they are "worth it" or not...... well, that is subjective.
They certainly don't give the gains of long tubes.
But......... many people have spent far more money on strictly appearance mods, some of which hurt performance (ie- aftermarket, heavy wheels).
Sadly, the mention of shorty headers really brings out the haters who will demean you for not "seeing the wisdom" of long tubes or nothing.
In the end, it's up to you....... I decided it was worth it to me.

They do make a difference on a 1999, look at the restriction on those factory pipes.
