I removed the negative side and waited a few minutes and reinstalled it.
Tryed to start the car and click second time click, third time car started.Put the car in the garage shut it down and tryed to start it and click.
Now I have a CLB with the fuel shutoff tune to 250mph.Grounds are all clean.
Is my problem in the key switch, battery, starter,?????
Please help
Check the red battery cable end that goes to the starter solenoid. It may be loose or corroded. I've seen them burned so badly that the bakelite around the post was charred and breaking apart.
Use a mallet and give it a whack then see if it turns over. Don't over-whack it but as stupid as it sounds, it might just work therefore verifying it. If you get it to actuate the starter, you can buy the whole starter which will have the solenoid on it or you can continue looking for the solenoid by itself.
