This could be a shot in the dark but you might have your front o2 sensors in wrong or if your car is a 97-03 you may have to put your rear sensors in the front. I have delt with the same code on my 04 and I had the o2's in the wrong spots. A tuner will only tune out the rear sensors but your code is for the front. The front sensors affect gas mileage and can make your car run rich if not hooked up correctly. If you have any questions shoot me a pm as I have researched the crap out of heated oxygen sensor codes.

Thanks for chiming in! I'm actually running all 4 02's, I'm running the rears in the front and have another set of rears in the x-pipe location. The car runs fine and doesn't bog or anything, its just the idle is a little more rough. I'm planning on replacing a few clamps since some of them were used and worn and hopefully that will keep the code from coming back.

After my installer was finished installing my LT's. They tweaked the tune. It's almost mandatory, and a guarantee that you will get a little more hp, and better idle. There's no downside to having one done.

At one time my tuner had also drilled a small hole in the throttle blade after doing a cam install. I assume it was to provide a little more air at idle. When I had the LT's done at a later time, they had a newer version of software for the LS1 edit program and no longer needed the hole mod, so they just swapped out the throttle blade for one that wasn't drilled. I've never had any idel or driving problems with getting the tune tweaked at the time of mods. I'm not a tuner by any means, but the pros on here will get you straight.
