Need part # please

Hi All,
I need the part number for the hydraulic hood struts(?) that hold the hood up. They are shot and I want to get new ones. Can I get aftermarket ones? Thanks

Aftermarket are available for most cars.

From my parts manual: GM p/n 88947690; AC-Delco p/n 510-379

Steve,
Try www.liftsupportdepot.com I bought a set of rear deck lid struts for my Durango, and they are about half the cost of OEM, are U.S. made, and they carry struts for virtually any car or truck.
