Ok so i recently purchased a set of Z16 wheels w/ Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport tires for my 2000 FRC. I ordered a new set of TPMS for my model year and when i put them on the car is gives me a notice in my DIC that they need to be serviced. So I take it to the Chevy dealer and they could not train the new sensors to the car because "the tire's sidewall is too thick" Is this possible or is there something i can do to fix the problem?

That's funny Someone needs to tell those guys that RF devices operate through rubber and even runflat tires don't have that much steel bracing in the sidewall. The receiver is within 6 feet of every TPM sensor. The OEM tires were rated for 200 miles flat and have very rigid sidewalls. If they work through those they'll work through anything. Raise the BS Flag with those guys.
