Mystery object...
Found this plastic item down in the bottom of the driver side front fender, toward the rear of the engine bay, below the master cylinder area.

is marked on the inside.
Any idea's on what this may be?

Good guess, but the part on the windshield for the mirror is a metal plate, and the part that slides over that plate (which has a similar shape but smaller and rounded) is metal as well.
This "thing" is plastic.
I'm not even sure if it is part of the vehicle, or a tool, or an old wiper blade?

Whatever it is, it was made on some OLD tooling. There hasn't been a "W. Germany" for quite a few years now.
