Question about knock sensors
The funny thing is that I have never had any Knock retard show up when scanning.. Car was on dyno did a couple of pulls then changed plugs because it lost power in a hurry on the top of one run. the plugs that came out looked new. After we changed plugs did one pull pushed coolant out surge tank stopped everything. Went home I pulled the new plugs and #3 spark plug ground strap was melted off.. The head gasket was burnt really bad on #3 and you could #4,5,6 where all starting...I looked at my tune and cannot see that it has been desensitized... if you over/under torqued them and damaged them would they still not set a code??

Think i have same issue here...
never seen any knock retard on my new LS2 402, was running ls6
but now i suspect damadge piston....

got low compression on cyl 7 (100) and bent spark plug. there
I first saw blue oil at WOT
and then it started backfireing and popping / stallingthink it´s maby been knocking
