I have a 99 C5, auto w/122,000 miles. Yesterday, the DIC started going through all kinds of messages - change oil, washer fluid low, tire pressures, all the gauage readings. It won't stop, the reset button has no impact and I can't get to the odometer. Now happens every time I drive. Any ideas? Thanks!
I would suspect that the DIC Buttons on the RIGHT side of the IPC are suspect. Remove the IPC from the dash and disconnect the right side buttons from the IPC and see if the problems STOP.
Did anyone get this problem figured out? My dic buttons are unresponsive and the display is constantly cycling through random codes. (low right rear pressure, low brake fluid...) I replaced the buttons which didn't make a difference. I also cleaned the chassis grounds, checked the fuses, no water around the bcm... any ideas? I have full power to all the leads that go to the switch except number 1 (purple) is the problem the ipc?
