Just had new shocks and wheel alignment at chevy dealer. When car is moving and let go of steering wheel car drifts slightly to left. It didn't do before what did they do incorrect. Is it wheel alignment or something else.
They did four wheel alignment.

It's the wheel alignment. Take it somewhere else. It's hard to find a shop that does a good accurate wheel alignment.

Its the alignment , no doubt. Take it back and complain. At least get money back for alignment.

I sure wouldn't ever go to a dealer for an alignment.

Just a quick note to those who requested the printout of "numbers". Speaking from experience, if the alignment equipment was not recently calibrated and/or the dealer tech did not attach one or more of the 4 alignment heads properly, the "numbers" may look great but have nothing to do with where the alignment actually ended up. More than likely this is what happened in the case of the OP.

Good point!

I work part time for a local auto parts store, and we have a GoodYear store next door. Last winter, I put new tie rod ends on my DD Camaro, so I wanted to check the frond end settings, as well as set the toe-in, as that had obviously changed with the new parts.

I went next door to the GoodYear shop, and the tech set up the heads, and told me to go at it. I got everything set reasonably well, but the car still didn't feel quite the same. A couple of weeks later, I was talking to the tech, as he had come over to get some parts from us, and he told me to bring the car back. Seems that they were getting complaints, so they had the rack re-calibrated...it was off a bit.

Being a great guy I am I called Dealer told them what had happened. I told them that man at Belle Tire said either their equipment was not correct or operator error. I emailed them a copy of Belle Tire report showing before there numbers and Belle Tire numbers.
The car steers excellent and tracks stright.
The man I work with at dealer said, thank you very much and asked what the alignment charge was at Belle Tire and said he would get back with me.
If anyone wants to see alignment report let me know and I will email it to you if I could show it here I would never did that.

I've had similar experiences, that's why I started checking and doing my own alignments using lasers and plumb-bobs.
