I would like to thank Bill for his extensive help in troubleshooting my problem. What we have come up with was it appears to be some draw created by the racetronix fuel pump hot wire that is making the alternator bounce. After completely removing the alternator from the system we still noticed the bouncing of amps with the car running purely off the battery.
Very strange issue. I recommended that Mark contact Race Tronics and see if its normal for the pump/controller to cause this phenomena. If not,,maybe time for a new pump. Either way, it NOT the alternator causing the issue.
