Default Power mirror memory

I have a problem which is really at least two problems. I can't seem to set my memory mirrors and stuff. Every time it activates things, the outside mirrors are too high. Second problem is niether mirror will move down using the switch. Any ideas?

There are sensors inside the mirror that report the mirror position (feed back pots) to the seat control module. Sometimes that pot gets dirty or defective and the ste position of the mirror goes to some weird position. It the memory moves the mirror then your having some issue with the circuit to the switch or the switch . Are you selecting the mirror control switch to the correct mirror and do BOTH mirrors do the same issues?

Default mirrors

Only the right hand mirror goes up on its own....neither one will go down.
Thanks for replying. Off topic, I asked in another thread if it's possible to program the tpms sensors without the magnet, just have the car moving. Since I have Mr. Curlee's attention, thought I'd ask!

No,, you need to enter the TPM Training mode, use the magnet and program each wheel in sequence. I thought about what your thinking and it would work excepy ALL FOUR sensors will be ON at one time and that would cause the programming to fail.
