EVAP help and questions
fill the car, on occasion get the fuel smell out of right rear area, (2000 coupe) goes away as fuel burns down. replaced fuel filter and started having the issue where it would crank but take alot longer to start only cold, did the fuel pressure test everything seems normal. did a sea foam on oil crank case, fuel tank and vacuum line from PCV valve at throttle body per Bill C, also had the lines off the solenoid both sides if that makes any difference.
with out tools, how can you tell if the solenoid is bad? evap vent valve? canister? Is there a way to tell without taking the world apart to tell if there is fuel in the canister? If the vent valve is bad what are/would be indications etc?
Trying to work on this now so any help, directions in this process would be appreciated.
