Either way, make sure you have a true CAI.
Well, you can either pay $500 for a Honker (which IS an excellent intake) or simply make your own ram-air mod that not only provides cool intake air but also cools off the engine bay and all of its rubber, plastic, and electronic components:

The only thing I've added was 3M VHB tape on the scoop flange. Intake air temps are reduced by up to 40 degrees F and horsepower gains remain, rather than degrade after slow-moving conditions on a hot day.
