Need Help: Brake line replacement
I recently got a set of Goodridge brake lines for my 97 and I'd like to look at a set of install instructions before i go tearing into my car. Anyone have a tutorial?

how do you remove the upstream part of the line? Does the little clip need to come off?

If you check in your service manual it tells you what all needs to be done under
Front Brake Hose Replacement (J55) . Why are you replacing them?

i'm referring to the connection between the rubber and hard lines. There's some kind of clip there i'm not sure how/if to remove.

After much grumbling and cursing, I finally got it out and installed the new line.
Do you guys reccomend bleeding each line as you install them, or should i install all 4 lines, then bleed?

change all then bleed.
furthest rear from master, then other rear, then furthest front, then other front.
make sure to keep filling master.
do not get any fluid on paint.
i would have a friend pump and hold for me.
i would use a glass jar with clean fluid and hose.

I guessed. I do not have a torque wrench so i just tightened until i felt the washer had crushed itself.
