Default Stranded! Z06 won't start! Help!

I've had this happen before but I normally waited 10-15 minutes and then it would start.

I get in, turn the key to on, proceed to start the car. The nothing! No clicks. No noises. Pulled The DIC codes, all clear! Tried jump starting, no change.

I think the starter is f'd. I'm about to lose my mind.

I don't know what to check. One thing though...... I think the oil sending unit is going out, when I start the car, I get low oil pressure warnings then it raises to normal levels.

Any ideas? I will pay the first poster with an easy fix. PayPal ready!

Roll start it???? I'm sure you know what im talking about. That will get you where you need to go. Unless the alternator is toast and wont hold a charge.

I think the ignition is toast, not the starter. Sorry for the confusion.

I'm 100% certain the battery is fine. And I can't roll start it where it's at right now. It needs gas.

Alot of people have had problems with the switch. Here is the DIY for it. Not sure what can be done right now. Have you checked all the fuses?

Not sure. I would check all the fuses. Is the security light flashing? The PCM could have moisture in it? I'm trying to think of anything else.

Security light does flash.

FYI. Fob does not work, hasn't since I owned. I unlock the car with a key. PCM may have moisture. Is that under the pass floor board?

If i does, then it has to be re-set. Here is how to do it

Turn key on for ten minutes, or until security light goes out,... turn key off for 5 seconds, back on for ten minutes,.. or until light is out,... back off for 5 seconds,... back on for ten minutes,... or until light goes out...
Make sure you have jumper cables on it so you dont kill the batt.

Thats all I can think of right now man. I saw where someone had a bad key and they had the same problems as you. Let me know how if it works. You have my number so let me know if you need anything else.

Was on the phone with Chris, car started randomly. .

Still an unresolved issue at this point. I'm certain this will happen again as it has happened before numerous times.

I'm going to try having a key made tomorrow.

If anyone else has any ideas, please chime in.

Thanks for the tips Chris.

Is it possible this is related to the CLB issue? Although, I don't get the "Pull Key Wait 10 seconds" message or DIC has codes.... ?
