Default Problems after head/cam install

I have a friend that had a comp 224/228 .581/.588 cam, LS6 intake, new CNC Patriot LS6 heads with 59cc combustion chambers, comp 918 springs, LS7 clutch, SLP underdrive pulley, LS7 lifters, and 42lb injectors installed on his 1999 Corvette.

The car has only 21 degress of timing in, and has an issue with audible detonation at about 5300-5800. You can also feel the power dip in that range as well. There is no knock showing up on logs at this range, so we are kind of lost. Has anyone experienced this?

Pic of dyno chart with dip:

If you not showing Knock retard, then something is wrong with the KN function. Are you sure that your KR tables are set up correctly in the system your using to data log the engine.

My EFI Live will show KR and what timing cells that its happening in. What Data Logging software are you using?????/

Where exactly? G107 is on the drivers side head, and that would cause the coils to drop out if loose. G106 is on the block above the starter, and that is a ground for the negative battery cable, and PCM.

What's the PTV on that setup? More milling than mine and less valve drop then my AFR's to start with but same cam and mine were slightly below the minimum recommended on the intake side.

I know it was innocent and not meant this way, but I am a 35 year old child and I found the first part funny... with the comma there is looks like Bill was calling Tony a retard. Yes, I know, I have issues!
