No oil pressure issue answer

No oil pressure issue answer
A few months ago I asked what would cause my no oil pressure reading and got good responses, the chevy dealer told me I needed a new motor. I brought the car to a friend who lowered my oil pan and checked the screen its was clogged with something that looked like cardboard,it turned out to be a bad oil filter that came apart and made it to my screen,After cleaning it out my oil pressure went up and car ran great.just thought I share that info just in case this happens to someone else.Thanks to all those who respond and help us who need it.

I think it was a fram which I should have paid attention to what was being put in.Now I make sure its mobil 1. I was told castrol is better than mobil 1 do you know which is better or what i should use.I have 52,000 miles on car and always used mobil 1 dont know if i should change
