The Helm manual for my 99 Grand Prix GTP has it in the same order. I haven't looked up the bleeding order in my 2002 vette Helm Manual, but I assume it's the same? Doesn't make sense though...I would figure it's rear then front.
In another post, someone stated that since 1986 GM has changed the Bleed order from model to model... so I dont think it's a typo in the '01 and '02 manual... i am just wondering WHY it's that weird order.
The only thing I can think of is that they want you to bleed the system in halves. Modern brake systems are set up in halves, with each half doing a front caliper and the opposite side rear, that way if one corner is damaged and can't build fluid pressure, the other half of the system can still work. I don't see why they'd think it was important though, to flush each half in sequence.
