C5 headlight operation issue
I would appreciate some guidance.
When I turn the headlight switch to the "parking light" position, the headlights open but do not turn on (rather than waiting to open in the headlight position on the switch).
In the headlight "on" position all is correct.
When the lights are turned off, the passenger light door continues to attempt to shut for 7 seconds after being completely down, making a machine gun like noise before turning off.
Finally, I unplugged the passenger headlight and the drivers light works as it is supposed to, meaning, it comes up when the switch is in the "headlight position".
Where is my problem?

and worn gears have been known to cause the "up but off" at park glitch.
