Default Cam/stall?

I'm looking to buy an MS3 cam or one similar to it. I have intake, air bridge, LTs, X-pipe, and exhaust. Would I HAVE to have a stall to make this cam work with my car?

New springs.

Stock springs are only good for a .550 valve lift

anything beyond a 224/224 or (pushing it) 228/228 you're gonna need a stall. i am not a fan of the MS3. may i suggest getting with someone who can spec you the right cam for your setup/purpose?

Why don't you care for the MS3?

MS3 SOUNDS badass, for guys who like the lope. It will offer you very little in terms of rwhp/rwtq in the rpm ranges normally driven on the street. It doesn't offer too much down low, but rather puts everything up top. With no stall and a MS3 your car will prob surge like a ****.

all well and good. still might be a good idea to consult someone who specs cams for a living like Ed Curtis, Patrick Guerra, or Ed and Shawn from VA Speed. (before you purchase your cam).

YES! You'll need a looser converter for it to idle decently. Not to mention the response off idle will be terrible without a stall.
