What's the best way to rotate the crank by hand in small increments? I suspect it's making a tool to fit over the crank bolt. (Sawed-off socket welded to a piece of flat bar?). Does anyone sell a ready made tool for this?
I've got about 7/8" between the head of the crank bolt and the steering gear housing. No room for a standard socket / breaker bar there... Thus the comment about the sawed-off socket and flat bar. The 12 point ARP crank bolt is 15/16", correct?

Having more money than time, I simply ran down to AutoZone and bought one of their 1 1/16 12 point wrenches. Fits in there just fine:
??? I'm confused. Why not use the closed end of the wrench? I did- it fits perfect.
You're right. My mistake
Couldn't you pull the plugs, then turn by using pully/belt by hand?
That might work.. I was hoping to come up with something the didn't require pulling ALL the plugs each time. None of the accessory pulleys have nuts that will turn the pully though???
