Help me spend $3k...

Corsa Indy's with X pipe: $750 + $225+ install = $1100
Hotchiss Sway's with metal links: $549
Now the serious question: shocks. The SCCA rulebook allows for any shock, provided "it has no more than two external dampening adjustments". Does this mean I can only put 2-way adjustable shocks on my car? Who the heck makes two-way adjustables? The only ones I've seen are non-adjustable, three way, five way and more... 2 way? Is there such a beast?
Then again, for $1300, I can just say- "Screw you guys, I'm going coilovers..." Anybody know if the WCC coilover kit is any good? I really expected it to be more expensive.... http://store.yahoo.com/corvetteforum/wescoascorul.html
This kit looks like exactly what I'd like to do (except that it completely removes me from the stock class...) Honestly, the car has enough power for me (for now), but it's suspension needs work.
The WCC kit plus Corsas would put me right at $3k.... Tempting... ASP's not a bad class, right? :D :D
And then I could finally ditch the crappy stock shifter for a nice Hurst setup.... :yesnod: :yesnod:
Why dont you do the exaust which sounds sweet, forget the xpipe, unless you hate the popping exaust sound, pick up the hurt or other short throw instead, definatly do the Hotskis sway bars with the bilsteins, and you will have about $1000 bucks left, which you use to get headers. I'm assuming you have a cold intake already. If not, then you should get that as well. That should give you a great handling car, with a little extra umph at the track and street  That's what I would do, if had 3k to burn. Get the most out of it. :smash:
Hotchiss Sway's with metal links: $549
Corsa Indy's with X pipe: $1100
ZO6 Sway's with metal links: $300
Koni Single Adjustables: $850
Lower 1": Free
Competition Alignment: $200
Blackwing: $230
B&M Ripper: $200
A&A Frame Savers and Rocker Savers: $120
That will put you at about $3000. Have fun modding and check the autox rules to prevent from being put into a class where you won't be competitive!!!

Ohlins and Penske have entry-level coilovers that together with swaybars and coils will be below the $3k limit. You can see what I'm using in my sig.
The following post have some more interesting info. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=216027

OK I know exactly what you should do.
Just send me $2999.99 and I will be glad to be your consultant. ( For a limited time only).

For the $3K, I'd replace the front sway bar with a T1 or Hotch unit, get the Koni double adjustable shocks, and spend the rest on motel / travel fees going to every event you can. The secret to AutoX is not in the car prep, but in the driver.
Spend your buck on gaining experience.
