the big L is like city driving, it will weed out some boogus signals. Little l is like highway. There is another setting, but im not sure what it is...
These are settings for the Logic Mode settings. This mode helps filter out interference that will lead to false alarms.
The big L means FULL LOGIC MODE which filters out as much as it can. The half L means HALF LOGIC MODE which doesnt filter quite as much as the full mode. The A means that ALL readings are monitored and there is no filtering taking place.
I usually run the HALF LOGIC MODE all the time and sometimes switch to FULL LOGIC MODE when in the city.
You can also turn off certain bands or otherwise modify how the default settings work, which will display a "P" at start up meaning "programmed" mode. This is in addition to the L, l and A modes. The P will go away after a few moments and then only the appropriate mode setting will display.
I've programmed out X band (and I'm thinking of dropping laser too due to the falses from the high intensity LED brake lights) and run the V1 in A mode.
